Eastotac C series resins are hydrogenated
C5 aliphatic petroleum resins. They are characterized by low color
and odor, and excellent heat stability. These products also exhibit
good tackifying properties and broad compatibility with numerous
elastomers and polymers.
Eastotac C series resins are produced
from petroleum feedstock by polymerization followed by hydrogenation.
The hydrogenation saturation levels of Eastotac resins vary with
different hydrogenation time. Their properties that can carry through
to the end products usually even after thermal ageing.
Eastotac C series resins are available
in three color levels with two varying softening points, which allow
the selection of the resin most suitable for a particular application.
